All Things Marketplace makes it easier to buy local with new, expanded delivery

 All Things Marketplace brings shoppers and local makers closer together. That’s been true for the past 4 years. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic inspired new ways to help small business owners grow during this challenging time.

Over the past 16 months, Founder Jennyfer Crawford opened a brick-and-mortar All Things Marketplace shop in Detroit’s historic Corktown, partnered with the BUILD Institute to grow awareness and opportunities for local entrepreneurs – and started bringing the locally-made wares you love right to your home.

The new location afforded her the option of offering small business owners with shipping and fulfillment services as a new feature of All Things Marketplace membership. And recently, she added on delivery too.

All Things Marketplace delivery services are now available to shoppers in a 20-mile radius of the shop.

“The expanded service started last month as a way to get products to customers faster,” says Crawford.

For shoppers, it’s as simple as choosing the delivery option when buying online during checkout. Delivery is currently offered for a flat rate within a 20-mile radius. Once the purchase is made, the shopper will receive a text message and email to show the payment processed and provide a delivery date.

The whole process makes buying local even more simple and efficient. All Things Marketplace makes purchases, shipping and now local deliveries a snap for business owners. And shoppers are in favor of it too.

“Our customers think it’s a great service and they now have a way to get products from your favorite small businesses faster,” Jennyfer says.
