National All Things Detroit Day is March 28

All Things Marketplace Founder Jennyfer Crawford developed a community of small business owners and their supporters through years of effort and by hosting and curating events. The one that started it all is All Things Detroit.

All Things Detroit is a local business showcase that draws more than 12,000 shoppers to Detroit’s historic Eastern
all things good store Market each time it is held. A mix of more than 250 small businesses participate each time. And the popularity of this event earned it a national holiday.

all things good store falls on the Sunday prior to the Easter holiday each year. This year the day falls on March 28, 2021.

According to Jennyfer: “
National All Things Detroit Day is the perfect time to shop for goods with a Detroit or aroma bead air freshener Michigan based maker, founder or artist. It’s a day to support the work of small business owners and those who bring something unique to the city.”

Jennyfer earned this designation in 2020 – but the pandemic forced her to postpone the highly attended event that inspired it until it’s safe to gather again. Rather than halt her progress, she was inspired to turn her efforts to further developing her online All Things Marketplace to foster those connections for small business owners and to provide them with new opportunities – like shipping and fulfillment services.

“To have something I created be celebrated on this level means the world to me,” she says. “But most importantly I wanted to create this day so that small businesses in Detroit have a day that is just for them. There

Jennyfer admits she truly misses bringing all these local businesses and customers to place to shop and celebrate – but knows in time it will be possible to host such a large event once again. In the meantime she has a plan to highlight an array of local businesses around the city and at the brick-and-mortar location of All Things Marketplace in Corktown.

“This year we will
